Match Report
The boys were excited for their last match of their 1st season as Penn Colts East and they went into the first half of the game with enthusiasm. The game seemed pretty well matched with play remaining around the centre line. Shortly into the first half of the game, Brandhall made their first attempt at the Penn Colts goal which was fortunately saved by Amrun after re-bounding off both Jordan and Luke. After further mixed play, Dominic managed to break away and make a run for the Brandhall Colts goal scoring his first goal of the match taking Penn Colts into the lead. The score was not to remain this way as we got towards half time as Brandhall Colts managed to break away and score their first goal of the match. Shortly into the second half, Brandhall Colts were awarded with their second goal of the game taking them into the lead. Penn Colts boys persevered and continued to provide a good defence whilst making a play for the Brandhall goal when possible. After a couple of attempts the boys were rewarded with their second goal of the match and the equaliser, again scored by Dominic. This was the final goal of the match seeing a 2 all draw. A good end to their first season.
